General Policies

Payment Policies - Payment in full for each semester is due no later than the first day of each semester. Credit will not be extended to anyone unless a prior credit relationship has been established. There are no refunds on tuition, only school credit. School credit will be issued only within one year after the student stops taking class. Credit needs to be used within one year after it is issued. Credit is not transferable.

Weather Cancellations - If the weather is bad, cancellations will be announced on the schools phone message. So you must call if the weather is bad to make sure there is class.

Observation - We have an open door policy, however, parents may only observe students from outside of the studio while a class is in session. Students dancing in Studio II can be observed through the viewing window during class. Students dancing in Studio I may be observed at the discretion of the teacher.

Make-up Classes - If a class is missed a student can attend another class at a different time during the week, but please check with us first. The class has to be made up during the semester it is missed. Make-up classes can not be carried over to the next semester.

Holidays - The school takes holiday vacations each semester. The cost of those holidays is not included into the cost for the semester. Please see the school calendar for exact holiday closings during the semester.

Dress Code

Pre-Ballet I,II - Pink leotard, white socks or pink tights, pink ballet slippers

Foundation - Pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers

Ballet I - Burgundy leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers

Ballet II, III - Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers

Ballet IV, V - Any color leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, pink pointe shoes

Boys - White leotard, black tights, white socks, black ballet slippers

Modern - Any color leotard or tights, no shoes

Tap - Black leotard, pink tights, black tap shoes

Jazz - Any color leotard or tights, black jazz shoes

Hip Hop - Any color leotard or tights, black jazz shoes

Combination classes only require appropriate shoe change. No other clothing change is needed.

General Expectations

• No food allowed in the dance studio. Water only.
• No street shoes allowed in the studio.
• We are a non-smoking facility.
• Students will not be allowed to chew gum in class.
• Students must arrive on time.
• Students need to be wearing the dress code for their class.
• Students hair must be up in a bun. If a student has short hair it must be pulled back neatly out of their face. There are no exceptions to this rule.
