Portsmouth School of Ballet's Student Company

Students on the Portsmouth School of Ballet Student Company are chosen through audition. The students have the option to audition in Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Musical Theater, Hip-hop, Street Funk, and Tap. The School's program is ballet based and the company is focused on Ballet Technique and Pointe.

The Portsmouth School of Ballet Student Company is for the dedicated dance student who is on a professional track. Students in the PSB Company focus on learning how to become a dancer, body awareness, health, nutrition, hygiene and etiquette are all taught and focused on at this level.

The students dance 10 - 20 hours per week depending upon their level. The company has both recreation as well as pre-professional levels.
